AUKILO PRO

Your prices speak
for you. Make sure
they speak true.

Every day, shoppers check prices per kilo in your aisles and around their homes. Aukilo lets you take part — openly, by entering prices yourself or by sending us a data feed.

Before anything else

What this page
does not sell.

Nobody can pay to rank higher.
Nobody can pay to look cheaper.
Nobody can pay to hide a report, to delay its publication — nor to earn the right to answer it.
Nobody can buy individual user data.

The best price per kilo stays the best price per kilo. That is what earns our users’ trust — and therefore what makes this page worth anything to you.

The base you are compared on

Where our prices
come from.

Every price shown in Aukilo carries its origin and its date. Four sources, four distinct labels, never mixed up.

community reading
Seen on the shelf, backed by a photo of the label, dated and located.
catalogue promo
Taken from your public catalogues, with validity dates and participating stores.
declared by the retailer
Sent by you, shown as such, and open to checks and reports like any other contribution.
≈ national estimate
A statistical benchmark over the last 90 days of readings — never a price anyone can pay.

Product pages also draw on open databases, with attribution. A price leaves the app after twelve months at the latest, a promotion as soon as it ends.

Four ways it pays off

What you
gain from it.

1

Being seen at the right moment

Aukilo users plan their shopping. Your prices and offers show up within their shopping radius, at the moment they decide.

→ Use case 01
2

Being compared on accurate data

An outdated or badly recorded price serves you as poorly as it serves us. Your feeds and the community’s readings keep the comparison on your real prices.

→ Use case 02
3

Getting credit for your transparency

Answering a report, fixing the issue, having the fix confirmed: all of it is public, dated proof — and free, with no subscription of any kind. Trust cannot be bought here; it is built, and it shows.

→ Use case 03
4

Seeing yourself as your customers see you

The Pro Observatory places you per kilo, category by category and area by area — the same unit your customers use in the aisle.

01

List your products and prices

Free

Publishing your prices on Aukilo is free, because every published price makes the comparison fairer for everyone. It is the same pact as for contributors.

Local shop — sometimes you are cheaper than the supermarket next door. Prove it.

Enter your prices per kilo, including loose goods and products without a barcode — the feature already exists in the app for farms and greengrocers. Until a price is in the database, nobody can see it.

Large retailer — your catalogues, dated and verifiable, where your aisles get compared.

Send us your catalogues and promotions, national or local — as a file, or through access to your data interface. They are published once checked. You decide the scope: a whole catalogue, one category, a selection of stores. The scope you send is displayed as such, so that nobody reads a selection as a complete picture.

Brand — your formats and product pages, accurate.

An accurate format means an accurate price per kilo. Correct the weights and the product pages of your range: that is the basis on which your references are compared, at your retailers as well as your competitors’.

Illustration only. The greengrocer comes first because its price per kilo is the lowest — not because it paid.

You choose the scope

Your whole range, one category, a selection of stores, or your promotions alone: we take what you send. The scope, however, is displayed as such — “1,240 references sent by the retailer for this store” — so that a selection is never read as a complete picture.

What the scope does not do

Sending more references does not position you better, and sending none does not penalise you: either way, the community’s readings remain authoritative on your aisles. A feed adds to the database; it does not replace it and does not erase it.

Transparency rule. A price supplied by a retailer carries its origin — “declared by the retailer, on [date]” — and remains open to checks and reports from the community, exactly like a contribution. And the deals rule applies to everyone: a promotion only appears as a deal if it goes below the national average price. A discount off an inflated base is not a discount.
02

Your one-off promotions

Free

Short, local offers, the ones no catalogue carries: “This Tuesday only, 30% off the butcher’s counter.”

How it works

The offer is dated (start and end), tied to one or more specific stores, labelled “announced by the retailer”, and disappears on its own when it ends. Users whose shopping radius covers your stores see it among their deals — if, and only if, the discounted price goes below the national benchmark, as for any other promotion.

The benefit

Your offer reaches your customers at the exact moment it is valid — without printing a leaflet.

WHAT THE USER SEES
CRF
Flank steak · by weight
Carrefour Le Perray · 8.0 km

17,50 €
/kg
?
Pork chop · by weight
30% off announced, but €9.80/kg
not selected — above the national benchmark
9,80 €
/kg

A discount announced off a high base does not enter the deals. The gap shown is always the gap to the national average price, never the discount you announce.

No paid placement. Your promotion submits to the ranking per kilo, never the other way round.
03

Your reputation: answer, fix, prove it

Answering is freeTooling on subscription

When the community documents a misleading multipack or a shrinking pack size in your aisles, the information exists — whether you look at it or not. Answering it and having the fix confirmed will never cost you anything: that is the normal counterpart to publication. What you pay for is the tooling around it — being told immediately, and following every one of your locations.

1 · Answer publiclyFree

A right of reply shown under the report, dated and signed by the retailer. No subscription, no condition: you only need to be identified as the retailer concerned.

2 · Prove the fixFree

When the price or the multipack is corrected in store, you declare it. The “fixed” status only appears once new community readings confirm it — proof before announcement, in both directions.

3 · Be told immediatelyPro plan

A notification as soon as a verified report — misleading multipack, shrinking pack size, wrong price — concerns one of your stores or one of your products, instead of discovering it by browsing the app. Without a subscription, reports remain publicly visible, as they are to anyone.

4 · Follow at scalePro plan

Multi-store dashboard, history of reports and how they were resolved, exports and programmatic access. Useful from a few dozen locations upwards.

REPORT · PUBLIC THREAD
MISLEADING MULTIPACK · VERIFIED ×3
“The pack of 3 works out at €5.72/kg, the single unit at €5.40/kg on the same shelf.”
by a contributor · 11 August · store identified
RETAILER’S ANSWER · 12 AUGUSTfree
“Display error on the multipack, corrected on the shelf this morning. Thank you for the report.”
Fixed — confirmed by 2 new readings on 13 August

The “fixed” status is never a matter of declaration: it waits for the community to confirm.

Answering is never paid for. Neither the right of reply nor the declaration of a fix sits behind a subscription — and paying has never removed a report, never delayed its publication, and never exempted anyone from one. The professional plan only sells reaction time and follow-up at scale. Pricing on request.

The Pro Observatory

Professional plan

Aggregated, anonymised indicators drawn from the readings: how your price per kilo sits by category and by area, how it moves over time, how formats differ.

For a retailer

Where I stand, category by category, in my catchment area — in the same unit my customers see.

For a brand

How my formats compare per kilo, and what the pack-size history says about my category.

Consistent with our commitments. Anonymised aggregates only. Never an individual data point, never any user targeting. Pricing on request.
